Dampak kecelakaan kerja akan menelan biaya yang sangat besar, Angka kerugian akibat kecelakaan kerja di negara berkembang mencapai 8% GDP. (www.kompas.com, 22 Mei 2004). Kecelakaan kerja terjadi karena faktor internal dan ekternal, faktor internal misalnya kelelehan dan kantuk. Faktor eksternal misalnya buruknya visual display. Visual display merupakan alat peraga yang memandu karyawan dalam menghindari kesalahan-kesalan dalam bekerja dan dalam menghindari bahaya, dengan rancangan visual display yang baik akan mengurangi angka kecelakaan.

TEKNIK PENGENDALIAN BAHAYA DENGAN HIRAC DAN JSA – Yogyakarta

HIRAC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment & Control) merupakan proses mengidentifikasi bahaya yang dapat terjadi dalam aktifitas rutin ataupun non rutin dalam perusahaan, untuk selanjutnya dilakukan penilaian risiko dari bahaya tersebut. Hasil dari penilaian resiko tersebut berguna untuk membuat program pengendalian bahaya agar perusahaan dapat meminimalisir tingkat resiko yang mungkin terjadi sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Sedangkan JSA (Job Safety Analysis) merupakan proses identifikasi bahaya dari setiap tahapan-tahapan pekerjaan kemudian melakukan penilaian tingkat bahay dan selanjutnya membuat program pengendalian yang bertujuan untuk mencegah kecelakaan kerja. Training ini akan memberikan pemahaman mengenai HIRAC dan JSA dari pemahaman dasar sampai dengan praktek membuat program pengendalian HIRAC dan JSA.

PENANGANAN DAN PENYIMPANAN BAHAN KIMIA B3 – Yogyakarta

Tidak sedikit industri yang dalam proses produksinya menggunakan bahan-bahan kimia yang pada dasarnya termasuk bahan beracun berbahaya (B3). Kesalahan dalam pengelolaan B3 dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan di tempat kerja, seperti, kebakaran, keracunan, ledakan, penyakit, dan lain-lain. Oleh sebab itulah, industri yang menggunakan B3 perlu mengetahui secara mendetail mengenai teknik praktis dan strategis dalam menangani dan menyimpan B3 sehingga kecelakaan yang tidak diinginkan bisa diminimalisir, bahkan ditiadakan. Terlebih lagi apabila kecelakaan tersebut sampai ke masyarakat, maka mungkin saja dapat timbul konflik antara perusahaan dengan masyarakat di sekelilingnya. Pekerja teknis di lapangan membutuhkan kecakapan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan bahan kimia tersebut. Selain itu, mereka juga patut mengerti bagaimana menangani dan menyimpan bahan kimia B3 serta bagaimana memantau dan mengantisipasi berbagai resiko bahan kimia B3.

ISO 9001: 2008 merupakan standar yang telah banyak diaplikasikan oleh berbagai perusahaan besar di dunia sebagai pertanda maju tidaknya sistem bisnis dan pelayanan yang dijalankan oleh perusahaan. INSTRUKTUR

Edwan Kardena is a leading scientist and engineering in the field of microbial process for bioremediation of organic and toxic chemicals, such as petroleum hydrocarbons and halogenated compounds. He obtained his Ph. D. degree from the University College of Wales in Cardiff, United Kingdom in the field of Environmental Microbiology/Biotechnology in 1955. He is currently known as a lecture in the Department of Environmental Engineering ITB.

Sri H. Suhardi is an environmental microbiologist and currently known as a research at the Inter university Center for Research on Biotechnology. Her major interest is in the use of fungi and biocatalyst for treatment of industrial waste. She has extensively been working with phenolic compounds such as chlorophenol. She got the Ph.D. degree from University of Kent at Canterbury, United Kingdom in 1995.

DESKRIPSI

Wastes can be in from of gas, liquid, solid and even sludge or slurry. Waste generation is resulted from inefficiency processes, which in many kind industries are inevitable. Oil industry, for example, generates many type of waste depends on the nature of the process. Exploitation and production of crude oil can generate liquid waste (produced water) and also oil sludge. Refinery activities may generate: wastewater containing phenol, oil, ammonium; solid waste containing oil and heavy meals; oil sludge as well as air pollution. As abundant thus the problem is not merely created by the toxicity or the nature of the chemicals but also by the quantity of the waste itself.

Quantity and quality of waste determine the problems can be created and the way in which waste should handle and in addition, the cost of industry must spend to managed them. Today, waste management is not the matter of how much money the industry should spend to get rid of all waste but rather what benefits can be obtained of waste are manage properly. Thus it is very important that the environmental awareness and moreover, know-how of environmental management are owned by industries. In this perspective we offer an intensive course on bioremediation of industrial hazardous organic wastes.

DESCRIPTION

HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT HANDLING DISPOSAL

The waste procedure is responsible for contamination arising from waste, and there is specific legislation relating to environmental management and waste management, and hazardous waste management. Waste disposal is potentially a major source of legal liability, particularly in Indonesia where there is strict liability for environmental damage resulting from pollution.
A waste management plan should form an integral part of all stages of operation, and shall be included in each operating departments environmental risk assessment. A full range of options for the production, control, treatment and disposal of all wastes shall be considered. These considerations will affect plant and process design, construction methods and materials, operational procedures and site restoration.
It is the purpose of this course to provide participants with techniques of industrial waste control management, how to implement it and to evaluate their own system.

OBJECTIVES
• Waste is managed in compliance with all applicable legislation and Environmental policy.
• The risk of legal liability associated with production, handling and disposal of waste is minimized.
• All options are taken to minimize, eliminate, prevent, recycle or reuse waste materials.
• Disposal of waste is conducted in the most sound environmental manner.

There were many accidents in industrial transportation ( land, marine and air transportation ) due to some causes such as human factors ( operators, drivers, helpers, load masters, etc. ); equipment failures / malfunction (example : vehicles, mobile heavy equipment, crew boats, supply boats, tug boats, oil barges, helicopters, etc.) ; environment conditions and the last but not the least : INADEQUATE and LACK OF TRANSPORTATION SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. The purpose of this safety management system is to ensure that transportation activities are well planned, organized actuated or directed and controlled so that risks are minimized and transportation is conducted in compliance with applicable Local, Government of Indonesia ( GOI ) or National and International Laws and Regulations as well as the Best Recognized Practices / Standards.

Dari berbagai kasus kebakaran yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini yang sebagian besar penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat dan para pekerja/pegawai perusahaan tentang bagaimana mencegah terjadinya kebakaran dan bagaimana menanggulanginya bila kebakaran sudah terlanjur terjadi sehingga kerugian akibat kebakaran tersebut bisa dikurangi atau kerugiannya seminimal mungkin.

TUJUAN PELATIHAN
Selama dan setelah berlangsungnya pelatihan ini, para peserta pelatihan akan mengerti/memahami dan mempraktekkan antara lain tentang :
1. Prinsip-prinsip dasar Manajemen Pengendalian Rugi yang terkait dengan masalah kebakaran

DESKRIPSI

Historically, industrial pulp and paper production was a semi – automatic process which required a great deal of manual intervention and there are some types of exposures to potential health and safety hazards such as physical, chemical and biological hazards which may be expected in each process area and these hazards will affect to employees from other areas may also occur depending on weather conditions, proximity to sources of exposure, and whether they work in more than one process area ( e.g. , quality control, general labour pool and maintenance personnel ). Also there are some environmental issues such as air pollution issues, water pollution issues and solid wastes handling. Due to these health, safety and environmental hazards, the Management and all employees of paper and pulp industry should set-up and implement HSE Management System and Procedures to handle the above HSE aspects in preventing and reducing accidents and losses : harm to people, damage to property or equipment, loss to process and damage to environment.

INTRODUCTION :
HAZOPS is one of some significant, systematic and valuable methods to implement critical assessment, evaluation and examination of process and engineering of both new and old processing plant installations. HAZOP Studies have become the cornerstone of today’s process safety in design and modification work. HAZOP Studies provide an effective way of reviewing plant interaction both in the offshore and onshore industries and have become standard across many industries and accepted by world-wide regulatory bodies. Knowledge and effective participation in HAZOPS are becoming a necessity for Project, Process Design, Safety and Operational personnel.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES :
The main focus of this course is to develop and understanding of HAZOPS, its methodology and its place within the overall process design and safety management, and to identify the roles of the HAZOPS Team Leader and Participants/Members. DESKRIPSI

Berdasarkan Undang-Undang No.1 Tahun 1970 dan peraturan pelaksanaannya pada Permen No.4/MEN/87 pasal 2 mewajibkan perusahaan mempunyai Ahli K3 agar pelaksanaan K3 di tempat kerja berjalan optimal. Pelatihan Ahli K3 umum dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan operasional perusahaan menuju produktivitas dan efisiensi untuk meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan.

I. TUJUAN TRAINING AHLI K3 UMUM
Setelah selesai mengikuti pelatihan dan lulus ujian, peserta akan mengetahui tugas dan kewajiban dalam melaksanakan persyaratan, sistem dan proses K3 di tempat kerja sesuai dengan peraturan dan perundang-undangan yang berlaku.

Mooring Master/ Head of Mooring Master at Unocal (Indonesian-American Oil Company) at Santan Terminal. Master of various Ocean going vessels, (Bulk, Cargo, Tanker) from various national and foreign company, Indonesian and foreign flag vessels , running for Japan, Europe ,Middle East, Africa, Indonesia, South Asia, until 1979.
